This large Georgian cottage built in 1840 has everything you will need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable, including gorgeous, UPVC 'heritage' sash windows.

Sleeps
Up to 4 guests in three bedrooms. Children are welcome and there is a top of stairs safety gate. Baby bath available on request.
Extra Touches
A welcome pack includes wine, biscuits, jam, water, hot chocolate, tea and coffee and complimentary toiletries. Plus a basket of logs for the wood burner. Cleaning products are provided too.

Bedrooms and Bedding
Upstairs are three bedrooms with cotton bedding.
The large main bedroom has a super king-sized And So To Bed® 'Austen' brass bed taking centre stage. Opposite the bed is a TV and beautiful feature fireplace. For those who like to sit pretty, there is a spacious wardrobe with drawers and a lovely Edwardian dressing table. The bedding is cotton.
The other 2 bedrooms both have single bed, bedside table, stripped floorboards & rug, mirror and a hanging space for clothes.
**Please note: we do not provide any linen or blankets for the cot.
Bathrooms
There are 2 WC's with sinks one is downstairs and one is upstairs.
There is also a separate well lit shower room with with shelving and hooks for robes. The double sized walk-in power shower is refreshing and the temperature is instantly controllable. The shower head can be hand held, plus there is a hand basin. Towels are provided.
Facilities
There is a stylish reclaimed pine dining table which comfortably seats 4. Controllable gas central heating.
Appliances are very well provided to include a full size hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, kettle, filter coffee machine, microwave, washing machine, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, Dyson vacuum cleaner, board games, Duplo Lego, toys, books, buckets and spades.

Two TV's: one in the lounge and one in the main bedroom, DVD player.

Parking
*Space for 1 car, directly outside the property is available for your stay, please be aware that there is a 3" kerb and that you will need to parallel park alongside the cottage and to tuck your car in so that it is not on the footpath.
Due to insurance clauses there are no vehicle electric charging facilities on-site, this can be done on the public car parks.
There is further on free street parking directly across from Sentry Cottage for 3 cars.
Otherwise, there are a number of large car parks in Alnwick, all of which are free, details of which will be sent to you.

There is a large utility room where outdoor gear, golf clubs and bikes can be stored.
